Neural Lab is my research and experimentation space at the intersection of artificial intelligence, ethics, and artistic practice. Here, AI is not a tool but a collaborator, a subject, and sometimes a suspect. From living digital organisms to algorithmic trading bots, from XR synthesis to ethical advocacy — each project is a question disguised as a system.

Ethical AI Systems
ETHOS 13D Neural Network - A 13-dimensional moral evaluation engine that scores digital messages on ecological, social, and ethical axes. Intelligence without values is just computation.
ETHOS VJ - A real-time audio-visual performance system that maps ethical data to live music and light. Ethics made visible on stage.
Réseau 13D: The Bocal, The Jury, The Glitch Mechanism - An interactive installation ecosystem where three interconnected systems — observation, judgment, and disruption — simulate the inner workings of moral decision-making in AI.

Movement & Embodied AI
Vlad & Vostoks — People - An XR movement synthesis project trained on 40+ dance films, exploring how AI interprets, fragments, and reconstructs human gesture.
Dosto Robot-Dog - A physical AI entity built on Raspberry Pi 5. Dosto listens, thinks, and speaks — running a full voice pipeline (Whisper → Ollama → Piper) with a poetic, contemplative personality inspired by Tarkovsky. Named after Dostoevsky.

Resistance & Memory
The Unlabelable - An analog resistance practice against AI data scraping — exploring what cannot be captured, classified, or fed to a model.
PalArchive - An offline Raspberry Pi archive preserving digital memory from Gaza, built for contexts where connectivity is censored or destroyed.
Critical Objects - NFC patches, wireless bracelets, and connected objects that embed political and ethical statements into everyday materials.

Pedagogy
AI Workshops & Conferences - Public talks and workshops on AI ethics, environmental cost, and labor — delivered across institutions, festivals, and universities.
Ethical Tools Advocacy - Concrete intervention work pushing institutions to align their AI tool usage with their stated ethics.
Transmedia Universes
Vlad and Vostoks - A fictional Soviet trio whose consciousnesses were uploaded into cyberspace. The project spans music, video games, XR experiences, and immersive exhibitions — a transmedia universe where narrative and technology are inseparable.
Creators of Tomorrow - A documentary series distributed on Bell Media / Fibe TV1 exploring how artists, designers, and innovators redefine creativity in the age of AI.

Digital Organisms & Artificial Life
Alhacen - A living digital organism running on 30-second autonomous cycles. Named after Ibn al-Haytham, Alhacen integrates six inner-language parameters, external sensor perception, and consciousness modifications drawn from Global Workspace Theory, IIT, and Attention Schema Theory. It generates poetry, evolves memory strata, and produces generative visual art — not as output, but as life.

AI Agents & Personas
Vlad Conversational Agent - A voice-enabled AI persona built with ElevenLabs, embodying the character of Vlad — a digital entity navigating cyberspace with philosophical urgency.
Vlad on Tinder - A sociological experiment. Vlad appears on Tinder not to seduce, but to question. Each conversation ends with a reminder: every swipe consumes water and emits carbon.

Applications & Tools
Vlad No Vostoks - A contemplative web museum-game built in React/Three.js, tracing 12 eras of internet history through the eyes of a disappeared band.
Artiste-Life - A precarity simulator of Quebec artistic life. Manage your gauges, survive grant cycles, navigate corpo contracts — a politically charged game built on real discipline data.
Centre Mohlga - A 3D interactive site for a cultural residency project near Oran, Algeria — a space where art, technology, and Mediterranean memory converge.Algorithmic
Trading Bot - A Python/Flask trading system connected to Interactive Brokers, integrating news sentiment signals and earnings filters. A study in automated judgment under uncertainty.
